I'm going on holiday...
(Art by Don McGill).
Yes, Love The Line is on vacation until 11th August. I was thinking of pre-scheduling posts to appear over the next 2 weeks, but I ran out of time. Meanwhile, here's a preview of my pencils for a new Somersault strip, co-written with Dan Locke, which in it's finished form will appear on the Forbidden Planet blog in a few weeks.

Somersault
From The Forbidden Planet International blog : "Starting today I’m delighted to announce we have a brand-new series of comic strips starting here on the blog. Somersault is the brainchild of Richard Cowdry and Daniel Locke and will be coming to us every Tuesday (as with Darryl’s Super-Sam we’ll post up strips into an online archive as it builds up, so if you miss any you can catch up easily), so we hope very much that you enjoy it!"

Jimi Gherkin on Bugpowder
Here's a great interview with Jimi Gherkin, who is the heart and soul of the British alternative comix scene. The interview was conducted by Gareth Brookes.

Kit-Cat Klock
From The Invisible Agent :
"The original Kit-Cat Klock has been manufactured in the USA ever since it’s creation in the mid 1930’s. The clock with moving eyes and a wagging tail was designed to help take people’s minds off of the depression. Below is an example from the 1950’s that was up on Ebay a few weeks ago."
