An early strip by Mark Beyer from the comics anthology "Lemmee Outta Here!", one of the great underground comix of the late 70's (when the underground was supposedly dead).

::GASP:: Where did you find this strip? I've struggled to track down anything beyond "Amy and Jordan"...
Well, it's from a late seventies underground comx anthology called "Lemmee Outta Here!", where all the stories are about growing up in the suburbs. The character designs are Amy and Jordan, but maybe it pre-dates those characters? There are a few Mark Beyer strips in other 70's comics, like Arcade, and he did a couple of self published books too. There were more strips in 80's and early 90's anthologies, such as (I think), Heck!, and Snake Eyes, and Raw.
Great to see this. Beyer is one of the few true originals in comic strips.An incredibly underrated artist.
